Tour Our Fort Lauderdale Resort

A couple weeks before the resort grand opening I sat down with owners David, Ken and Tom for this Exclusive Hotspots Magazine interview:

How did the idea come about?    We always wanted and dreamed about having a hospitality property in Wilton Manors/Fort Lauderdale as we have lived here for a long time. We had been looking for a while but wanted to wait for the perfect place.   When we sold our hotels (Brass Key and Crowne Pointe) after owning and operating them in Provincetown for the last 22 years, we started looking seriously down here. As soon as we saw this property, we knew it was the one. We felt the property really lends itself well to what today’s travelers are looking for in vacation accommodations – spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens and technology driven experiences like contactless check ins, fast WiFi, and smart TVs.

Did it come out as good as you anticipated?   Actually, it came out better than we planned. We had an idea of the “look” we wanted and worked with a local designer to do all the interior decor of the suites to bring that vision to life. The fully furnished apartments feel like home including a fully functioning kitchen, huge closets, central A/C, and resort quality amenities. We are on the edge of everything, where you can walk to the drive, but it’s just far enough away that it’s quiet if you want to get away.

What are some of the resort quality amenities you speak of?   We have a gym, a beautiful infinity pool with plenty of lounge chairs, a BBQ, a picnic area right on the dock, a floating dock which allows easy access to the Middle River (Sunrise Paddle Board will deliver), and gigantic closets (Scott’s Note: Unbelievable closets, which I would love in my bedroom…LOL
